Anatomist, TV presenter and author Professor Alice Roberts has been announced as Green People’s brand ambassador and official science communication advisor for 2017.

Roberts will be working with the organic beauty brand as it celebrates it 20th year, supporting its Change the World in 20 Ways campaign, which will donate £20,000 to individuals and groups across the UK to help make a positive difference to the communities around them.

Commenting on her involvement, Roberts said: “Green People have a fantastically ethical and thoughtful approach to sourcing ingredients and creating their products, and that’s something really important to me, as a consumer. As a science communicator, I’m really keen to work with Green People to look at how language can be used in a positive way to tackle misconceptions about chemicals and the chemistry of everyday life.”
