Giving chia a crunch

Chia bia has launched a new range of gluten-free biscuits – Chia Crunch – incorporating the increasingly popular superfood chia seeds.

The selection of biscuits – which the company says is the first of its kind – comprises Blueberry & Almond; Chocolate Chip; Lemon Crunch; and Ginger Crunch. All the biscuits contain chia seeds which are a rich source of omega-3, fibre, protein, iron and antioxidants.

Chia bia co-founder, Ray Owens, commented: “The many health benefits of chia are becoming much better known and demand for our products has more than doubled each year since we founded the business is 2009.”
