New juice brand MOJU has launched nationwide with a mission to bring healthy juice bar quality juices to store shelves.
The range of three cold-pressed juices steers clear of purees, pulps and additives and the brand is so proud of its clean ingredients list that the recipe for each of the juices is listed on the back of each bottle.
The varieties are: The Green Juice, vitamin and potassium-rich leafy lush greens with a twist of lemon and a hint of ginger; The Purple Juice, nutrient-rich and sweet root vegetables, balanced with crisp apple and refreshing cucumber; and The Orange Juice (without the orange!), a boost of vitamin C and A from carrots and red pepper, with a ginger and turmeric kick and a twist of lemon.
Each bottle contains at least four portions of fruit and veg – equivalent to 1/2kg of fresh produce – and MOJU juices are cold-pressed using HPP to retain the natural vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
MOJU uses lower-sugar fruits and lots of vegetables to keep the juices as healthy as possible.
Rich Goldsmith, who co-founded the brand with university friend Charlie Leet-Cook, comments on the launch: “Cold-pressed juice has to date been a niche product for the health-conscious. We simply started making it for ourselves to stay healthy whilst working too many long hours in our corporate jobs. When we looked at the typical juice offering on the market everything was high in sugar and pasteurized. So we decided it’s not just the super health-conscious who deserve the benefits of cold-pressed. We started MOJU to introduce a much wider audience to a tastier and genuinely healthier way of living.”
