Free-from and vegan brand Free and Easy has unveiled a four-strong range of natural cake mixes.

The mixes are suitable for those with allergies or intolerances to the 14 most common allergens – including gluten, diary, soya, nuts and wheat – as well as those following a vegetarian or vegan diet.

The products are available in three variants sweetened with coconut blossom sugar – Sponge Cake, Carrot Cake and Ginger Cake – and a sugar-free Chocolate Cake made with xylitol.

As with the rest of the Free and Easy range, the new cake mixes are free from artificial additives and preservatives. They are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, and the mixes contain a vegan egg replacer for those wishing to maintain an egg-free regime.

All the products are produced at Healthy Food Brands’ allergen-controlled factory in Manchester.
