Organic porridge brand Grasshopper will soon be offering its products in compressible pots – already dubbed as ‘flat-packs’.

The new pots are a “brief-case or handbag size” 45mm when sold, but pop-up to as normal cup size when the tops are removed. The company says patents have been taken out on the new pot designs which aims to trade mark as The Hopper Pot.

The first ‘flat-packed’ porridge pots will hit shelves in June.

Grasshopper was founded in 2006 by sisters Fleur and Abigail Emery (pictured). The Soil Association-certified range comes in Plain, Coconut & Date and Cinnamon & Raisin versions.
