Essential gets in a flap (jack)

New from Essential comes a new range of indulgent organic flapjacks, free from artificial additives of any kind.

The range consists of eight varieties which aim to provide a slow-release energy boost to keep you going throughout the wintry days.

Dubbed ‘pure heaven, but tasty as hell’, the organic flapjack varieties are: Almond & Sunflower Seed – with butter, sugar and honey gently melted and added to a mixture of oats, almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds before baking;Chocolate Topped Flapjack – sugar, butter and honey is mixed with traditional oats, baked and topped with an indulgent layer of chocolate; Chocolate Chip & Cranberry Flapjack mixes oats, cranberries and organic chocolate chips; Walnut & Apple Flapjack; Chocolate & Brazil Nut Flapjack, containing crunchy Brazil nuts and organic chocolate chips (vegan); Chocolate Chip & Coconut Flapjack (vegan); Cranberry & Blueberry Flapjack (vegan); and Walnut & Pumpkin Seed Flapjack which adds crunchy walnuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds (vegan).

Eli Sarre from Essential commented on the launch: “These flapjacks are produced by a local Bristol baker who purchases the ingredients from Essential to produce the range. They are made to a traditional farmhouse kitchen recipe and come in a handy point of display box for counter tops.”
