Organic dairy brand Rachel’s has launched a new ad campaign which will run until the end of June.

The campaign focuses on the heritage of the Rachel’s brand and the founder of the company – Britain’s first certified organic dairy – Rachel Rowlands.

The ada consist of a series of handwritten notes on a recipe book and chalkboard which aim to reflect the care and attention to detail that has gone into creating the yoghurts since Rowlands founded the brand in 1982 in Aberystwyth.

“Many consumers may not be aware of Rachel’s heritage and the story behind the brand,” explains Sophie Giraudel, Rachel’s brand manager, “and we are really excited to reveal this advert which demonstrates the passion Rachel puts into her product – values that the brand continues to foster. We hope this impactful campaign will continue to help drive awareness with more people enjoying our gorgeous tasting yogurts.”

The ads are being placed in titles including Red, Woman & Home and OK, as well as a range of retailer magazines. There will be a second burst of the campaign later in the year.

Rachel’s was sold to the French based Lactalis group in 2010 by its then owner Dean Foods.
