Organic soap brand Dr Bronner’s is supporting farm animal welfare charity Compassion in World Farming (Compassion) through sales of its products.

Until June 2015 the company will donate 20p to Compassion for each bottle of Dr Bronner’s 473ml and 946ml liquid soaps sold in the UK.

Michael Bronner, VP of Dr Bronner’s, commented on the partnership: “Dr Bronner’s is so excited to support Compassion in World Farming. We are very concerned about the effect our shopping and eating habits have on the world around us. Compassion is working to improve quality of life and conditions for farm animals by making broad policy change – benefiting human health, the environment, and animal welfare.”

Philip Lymbery, CEO of Compassion in World Farming, added: “We are thrilled Dr Bronner’s have decided to use their substantial business success to help support our campaigns and improve conditions for farm animals. We admire their dedication to sustainable environmental and farming practices and we are pleased to announce this exciting partnership.”
