Kent & Frasers has unveiled a new gluten-free savoury snack format – Criscuits – a cracker-biscuit hybrid.

The range of thin-cut cheese savouries are available in four varieites: Oak Smoked Garlic and Black Poppy Seeds; Cracked Black Pepper and Smoked Sea Salt; Hot Chilli Pepper; Coriander and Lime; and Grill-Roasted Onion and Nigella Seeds.

“The launch of Criscuits demonstrates Kent & Fraser’s commitment to innovation and driving the category forward,” said John Selby, founder director of the company, commenting on the launch “We strongly believe that our new cracker-biscuit format is just what the savoury biscuit market needs. Avoiding gluten shouldn’t mean avoiding great tasting food and we are dedicated to using real ingredients for real flavour to ensure that great taste is never a point of compromise in our quest for gluten-free greatness.”

The snacks are being distributed in the UK by Bay Tree.
