The Foraging Fox has added a ruby red twist to table top sauces with the launch of its Beetroot Ketchup.

Beetroot has become known for having a list of health benefits and is a source of folic acid, potassium, magnesium, iron and vitamins A, B6 and C, as well antioxidants.

This new natural condiment is made with beetroot, apples, red wine vinegar, brown sugar, seasoning and spices and can be used as a ketchup as well as in salad dressings or as a base for risotto.

Commenting on the launch, company founder Frankie Fox says: “There has been so much coverage in the last couple of years on the benefits of beetroot. From helping dementia, easing blood pressure and fertility, through to performance enhancement for athletes. This is a great addition to our diet! The consumer, more than ever, is looking at food provenance; they want to know where their food comes from and they want to know what’s in it. We’re all increasingly aware of great tasting products that have the added benefit of being good for you or at the very least a far better alternative to what’s already out there. Beetroot ticks all the boxes and our ketchup is a great way to be tastily healthy.”
