Welsh snack bar manufacturer Brighter Foods has launched the Wild Trail brand – its first taste of brand ownership.

The Wild Trail range will initially launch with three fruit and nut trail bars – Seed & Nut; Apple and Cacao – made from five simple and natural ingredients. Further product launches will follow this summer.

MD Robin Williams commented on the launch: “We’re excited about the future of Wild Trail. We wanted to create a range of nutritionally balanced products made from only a handful of simple and natural ingredients that consumers would recognize; ingredients they would find in their kitchen cupboard at home. While there are many snack bars on the market, many have between ten to 28 unrecognizable and complex ingredients. Wild Trail challenges that thinking and proves free-from and ‘healthier’ snacking can be truly delicious using a simple ingredients list. All our bars are gluten-, dairy- and refined sugar-free. We think the future is bright for healthier snacking and our aim is to offer people across all generations the opportunity to snack well.”

Initially available in shelf-ready cases of 18 bars, with multipacks to follow, the packaging has been designed to have strong shelf standout.
