Protexin has expanded its Bio-Kult range with the addition of Bio-Kult Infantis, a probiotic formula specifically developed for babies, toddlers and young children.

The product contains seven probiotic strains for the healthy functioning of the immune system; vitamin D to regulate inflammatory response; and Preplex (FOS and gum acacia) which selectively stimulates the growth of microorganisms and is high in omega 3.

With no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, the sugar-free formula comes in a pack of 16x1g sachet and doesn’t need to be refrigerated.

Commenting on the launch, Jonathan Sowler, Bio-Kult’s commercial director, said: “Our research revealed a need for a tailored probiotic for infant development in packaging which is easy to use.”
