BetterYou sales boost is “proof of sublingual demand”

Global demand for innovative vitamin and mineral sprays is booming, says pioneer VMS brand BetterYou, which has seen sales soar by 50% since this time last year.

The supplement supplier says awareness of the vital health maintenance role of vitamins like D and B12 has contributed to the rise, with increasing growth from overseas markets including central and eastern Europe, Scandinavia and South Africa.

The business, which has doubled its workforce in the last 12 months, also specialises in a unique range of magnesium sprays and soaks which are absorbed through the skin.

The boost in sales now means the supplement supplier is expanding its warehouse to increase its stock levels in response to customer demand.

BetterYou says that sublingual and transdermal vitamin sprays – where it is a specialist – play an important role for those who need to increase low levels of nutrients, therefore not relying on digestive efficiency which varies from person to person.

Andrew Thomas, founder and managing director at BetterYou, said: “Since the launch of DLux1000 in 2010, the interest in sublingual oral sprays has been overwhelming. We’ve been working hard to develop our range based on the needs of our customers.”

The company’s sublingual range, including DLux vitamin D oral sprays and Boost B12 oral sprays, along with the transdermal range of magnesium supplements, have all been tested by Cardiff University for absorption rates.
