TV presenter and writer Ben Fogle has been enlisted by Eat Natural to promote its impact investment initiative, Pollenation.

The company is working with The British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) which last year launched its Build the Buzz campaign to understand and help tackle the decline of the honey bee.

In September Fogle will help to launch a special edition Honey Bar, Eat Natural’s first bar made with honey from its own hives. Proceeds from the sale of the bar will go to the BBKA for research into the British honey bee.

“Pollenation takes us into a new direction as we make an impact investment into a project that raises awareness of the importance of British honey bees,” explains Praveen Vijh, co-founder of Eat Natural. “It brings us closer to honey, one of our most important ingredients and we are very happy to be working with Ben to help us explain the importance of bees in all of our daily lives.”

Fogle will be fronting digital and social media activity and a proactive multi-channel campaign. Commenting on the partnership, he says: “The plight of the British honey bee is very close to my heart. My family keep bees and it was only a matter of time before I got the buzz – excuse the pun! I am thrilled to launch this campaign and get people thinking, talking and taking action to support this significant initiative.”
