Brown Cow Organics gets a call from No. 10

Somerset SME Brown Cow Organics – organic food producer and Guernsey herd dairy farm – owner Judith Freane was at No 10 Downing Street and the House of Commons on 1st and 2nd December.

On Thursday 1st she took part in the Small Business Saturday reception and exhibition to government officials, and on Friday she was back to collect a Food and Farming Industry Award for supporting 11 local families and producing sustainable nutritious food from Brown Cow Organic’s organic food business. Commenting on the award Freane said: “It was fascinating to talk to and be with other farmers that share the same drive and enthusiasm for farming as us. Winning this award is truly an accolade to commemorate our 30 years in farming.”
