Vegan spokesperson and Bravura Foods co-founder Lisa Gawthorne is set to undertake a fire walk on Sunday 19 May to raise money for charity.

The sponsored walk across hot burning coals will take place in Crosby in a bid to raise money for Freshfields Animal Rescue, which has centres in Liverpool and Caernarfon.

Speaking about the forthcoming feat, Lisa comments: “It frightens me something silly, but I am willing to do whatever it takes in order to make people stop and think and to protect the innocent animals, but above all raise money for one of the most amazing charities – Freshfields Animal Rescue. It’s such a wonderful set-up; its only a few miles from where I live and I have been fortunate enough to visit the site and meet the amazing staff and animals allowing me to witness what they do first hand.”

This year, Bravura Foods is also sponsoring the charity’s Corporate Challenge Awards.
