British plant-based food start-up Brave has come to the market with a three-strong range of all-natural Roasted Peas.

The initial varieties of Roasted Peas, which are available in 35g packs, are Sea Salt, Paprika & Chilli and Garlic & Chive. They are high in protein and fibre and lower in calories and fat than most other snacks, says the company.

The brand says it has chosen the split pea as the first in its new line of healthy snacks as it is one of the most environmentally sustainable sources of protein. Brave has a completely local supply chain, with all the peas harvested, roasted and packed within three hours of its London office.

Speaking about the launch of the Roasted Pea range, Amber Fraser-Sokol, who founded the brand with her husband Seb, says: “We started Brave with the aim of inspiring positive change through good nutrition, being active and living sustainably.”
