Bioglan’s new Inulin powder is naturally sourced from chicory root and is available in a 250g pouch.

Inulin is a slightly sweet carbohydrate, which can be used as a sugar supplement. With less than a third of the calories of sugar, it has a zero glycaemic index and is suitable for diabetics.

Classified as a fibre, inulin is also a prebiotic and can contribute to normal bowel function and promote digestive wellbeing. It can also be used to support healthy weight loss.

The powder can easily be incorporated into the diet by being dissolved in water, juice, smoothies, cereals or in baking.
