London-based Gorgeous Brewery has launched a new vegan pale ale called Grasshopper, infusing hops with 5mg of pure cannabidiol (CBD) to create a “very unique brew”.
Incorporating hemp extracts compliments the hops, says Gorgeous brewery, which creates citrus fruit characteristics and a smooth mouth feel. The brew is low in bitterness, resinous and full of flavour and aroma.
The Grasshopper beer has been made in collaboration with experts at London retailer CBD & You, which specializes in CBD products.
“We are a family-run brewery with an eclectic, deliciously drinkable range,” says Rob Laub, cofounder of Gorgeous Brewery. “Our emphasis is always on handcrafted quality. This is definitely the case with Grasshopper. It’s the result of months and months of hard work in collaboration with CBD experts to create a product we are proud of.
