The Soil Association has announced the 2021 select judging panel for the Beauty & Wellbeing category in the BOOM Awards.

It’s the first year in which organic beauty and wellbeing brands have been able to enter the BOOMs, with entries closing on 1 March.

The panel of dedicated judges includes: Lisa Oxenham, beauty and style director, Marie Claire; Susannah Taylor, health and wellbeing columnist at YOU Magazine; beauty journalist Dr Ateh Jewel; make-up artist and beauty expert Wendy Rowe; and Dr Zoe Williams, NHS general practitioner, health educator and TV presenter.

The sub-categories within Best of Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Brands are: Best of Organic Hair Care; Best of Organic Skin Care (and Make-Up); Best of Organic Pregnancy & Baby; and Best of Organic Health & Personal Care.

The BOOM Awards is currently offering free entry to smaller businesses ‘thanks to partners and sponsors’; Soil Association-certified organic brands with an organic turnover of less than £250,000 per annum qualify for two free entries.
