Easy Bean expands bean and seed Cracker flavours

West Country-based Easy Bean is adding to its bean and seed Cracker range with two new flavours in January: Yellow Pea & Sunflower Seed and Chickpea, Turmeric & Nigella Seed.

Yellow Pea & Sunflower Seed Crackers are made with flour milled from split yellow peas to give a sweet, nutty taste; and Chickpea, Turmeric & Nigella Seed Crackers use chickpea flour and are lightly spiced.

The crackers are handmade in Easy Bean’s Somerset bakery using protein-packed pulse flours, milled in the UK from British-grown crops. They are made with 100% natural ingredients, have no added sugar, are gluten-free, dairy-free and suitable for vegans.

They are packed in 160g cartons, each containing four handy pouches. The packaging is recyclable and the carton is made from sustainable sources.

The new cracker varieties join the existing Red Lentil & Poppy Seed, Green Pea & Chia Seed and Fava Bean & Poppy Seed.

In 2021 Easy Bean will also be relaunching its five chilled meal pots with new and improved recipes made using nutritious pulses and chunky veg, simmered slowly in small batches. Using 100% natural ingredients, the meals are gluten- and dairy-free, suitable for vegans, and will feature new, brightly coloured packaging.
