The latest innovation from Abacus Foods is a three-strong line of gluten-free and vegan Seaweed Crisps in Lightly Salted, Salt & Vinegar and Cheese flavours.

The Seaweed Crisps are produced using vitamin- and mineral-rich seaweed harvested from the seas of South Korea coated with a thin layer of crunchy tapioca – a ‘resistant starch’ that feeds gut-friendly bacteria, reducing inflammation and increasing fullness.

Seaweed Crisps contain around 100 calories per bag and can be enjoyed as a healthy snack or sprinkled on salads and soups to add flavour.

“We created this range out of our love for the nutritious seaweed,” explains brand founder and director Helen Wang. “Feedback has been amazing, and people keep coming back for more. Being a natural foods brand, we embrace the wholesome, delicious, and nutritious foods that nature provides us with. We are super excited to be finally sharing them with you.”

Abakus Foods is part of 1% For The Planet movement so 1% of sales from the range goes towards charities that support environmental causes.
