GreenBay, a brand new 100% vegan grocery store, has opened in West Kensington, London.
Co-founders, Paula and Anderson, say the idea for the store comes from their experience of visiting conventional supermarkets and health food stores over many years. “We have sought to combine the best elements of all these stores under one roof, giving our customers a diverse range of vegan products and a fantastic, fresh shopping experience.”
Selling everything from cold drinks, grocery and dried goods, to chilled and frozen foods; cleaning and bodycare products to home baking, Paula describes the offer as “basically like an normal supermarket – but 100% vegan”. The store additionally offers a wide selection of organic fruit and veg, and specialist wellbeing products.
With smart, contemporary branding and a stylish interior GreenBay also makes a confident statement about the increasingly popular plant-based lifestyle.
Blogger, Sean O’Callaghan (aka Fat Gay Vegan), says: “Yes, it’s a wee independent, doing it on their own. But they’ve crammed a lot of groceries in for a small shop and their prices are really affordable, especially for London. So get along to the store to support these passionate business people and their wonderful retail outlet.”
