New household cleaning brand Colt & Willow has launched with a range of sustainable, plant-based products created to look great as well as being effective in removing grime and grease.

The initial Colt & Willow products – which are fragranced with essential oils – include Geranium Leaf All-Purpose Cleaner, Rosemary, Lemon & Juniper Berry Bathroom Cleaner and Rhubarb Washing Up Liquid – all available in 470ml glass bottles and 1l PET refills.

There is also a Wonder Scrub Bicarb Soda Cream Cleaner available in 545g glass jar, and a Fig & Cassis Potty Spray available in 230ml and 90ml bottles.

Offering products designed for the kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms, the brand was founded by the McWilliams family who partnered with a small, family-run business in Northamptonshire to create a stylish and toxic-free alternative to chemical-based cleaning.

“Most people don’t realize that our homes are full of harmful toxins— and the products we use to clean with are damaging our health, our skin and our loved ones,” says Colt & Willow co-founder Annie McWilliam. “Having children changed the way we viewed our home and the world we live in. It became important to make sure our house was safe for them to crawl, lick and touch.”

Colt & Willow products contain no chemical fragrance, harsh detergents, phosphates, parabens or SLS, and all ingredients are listed on pack. The entire range is also available in handy travel packs.

The company is a member of 1% For The Planet.
