Wild Beauty is a new skincare collection produced using organic and wild-foraged ingredients from the Rhug Estate in Wales, the unspoilt surroundings of which have provided the inspiration for the certified organic range.
Described as ‘a unique story of organic security and provenance, blended with modern principles of function and sustainability’, Wild Beauty products contain essential vitamins and minerals and are 100% naturally fragranced with essential oils.
The eight-strong range comprises: Purifying Cleansing Lotion With Dandelion; Rebalancing Skin Tonic With Meadowsweet; Nourishing Eye Cream With Elderflower; Active Treatment Serum With Hyaluronic acid; Protecting Day Cream With Blue Tansy Oil; Restorative Overnight Cream With Evening Primrose; Replenishing Mask With Organic Oat Milk; Moisturizing Lip Treatment With Beeswax; and a Wild Foraged Skincare Essentials pack.
The provenance of each foraged ingredient can be pinpointed to an exact location on the estate, with plants including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant heather; meadowsweet, which contains salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells for a more even skin texture; gorse to help tone and tighten skin; elderflower, a powerful anti-inflammatory which helps to reduce the effects of environmental aggressors; and dandelion – rich in minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, it helps hydrate tissue and support the overall skin function.
“Everything we make is built on our respect for the environment and our heartfelt wish to create something truly exceptional, with the support of our passionate and dedicated team,” says co-founder Robert Newborough. “Inspired by our beautiful surroundings, we simply call our new collection Wild Beauty.”
The brand says that each element from the ingredients through to the packaging goes through a considered process to ensure it meets the estate’s long-established high sustainability standards.
