Weleda has added an All Purpose Balm to its Calendula Baby Care range, made with organic ingredients including biodynamic calendula from the brand’s own Demeter-certified herb gardens.

Described as ‘a tiny tin with big benefits’, the 25g pot contains a soothing baby balm with a multitude of uses  and is ideal to pack in a changing bag when out and about.

Made with nourishing organic sunflower and avocado oils, cocoa seed butter, protective candelilla and carnauba waxes and skin-caring calendula extract, it can be used to calm redness, chafing or dryness – from dribble rash to sore noses – and intensively nourish and protect skin. It can also be applied around the rim of each nostril as a barrier to help trap dust, pollen or other allergens.

The balm is suitable for adults too, and can help with chapped lips, to tame unruly eyebrows, disguise flaky or scaly skin such as heels or elbows, and soothe skin around the mouth and nose following a cold.

The NATRUE-certified natural formulation is fragrance-free, suitable for vegans, microbiome-friendly and recommended by midwives. It has been dermatologically tested for suitability on highly sensitive skin.

The product comes in a recyclable aluminium tin packaged in FSC cardboard made from at least 85% recycled fibres.
