The winners of the 2020 Free From Skincare Awards have been announced, with Lithuanian brand Uoga Uoga bagging Best Free From Skincare Product for its Intensive Care Day Cream.

The Uoga Uoga product beat stiff competition from other category winners, including products by first-time participants Annwyn Botanicals and Botanica Nordica, and regulars Green People, Holos Skincare and Dr Lipp.

The Best Free From Brand Award was shared between 2017 winners Bloomtown – which this year won four category medals, including a gold in the new Body Oils category – and New Zealand brand Antipodes, which won two category golds.

“It’s exciting to have our first ever non-British and non-Irish overall winner of the Awards,” said Awards director, Alex Gazzola. “This year we had entries from over a dozen countries in mainland Europe, including debuting brands from Romania, Iceland, Belgium, Austria and Slovenia, and the standard throughout has been extremely high.”

Other winners included Boo Cottage Botanicals, Coastal Lotion Bar (Best Body Care Leave On; Kiss the Moon, DREAM Night Cream for Feet (Hand, Nail and Foot Care); Antipodes, Kiwi Seed Gold Luminous Eye Cream (Eye Care); Amaranthine, Facial oil (Problem Skin); and Botanica Nordica, Glow Face Oil (Face Oils).
