Swissforce Pharma AG has launched a new skincare product, the Couperose Thread & Spider Veins Balm.

The product uses algae, a skincare ingredient which is growing in popularity and is now considered helpful for banishing wrinkles, skin blemishes, redness and helping sensitive skin.

Purple-red algae extract – which is loaded with antioxidants to help boost the immune system and nourish skin – is blended with gingko, red vine leaf and rose to improve the overall tone of the skin and reduces the visible appearance of redness, and spider/thread veins.

The blend of ingredients works by acting as a toner and regulating the skin function, says the brand. The balm is designed to create an even skin tone and prevent photo-ageing while acting as a long-lasting moisturizer.
