The latest offering from Soap Folk are its Organic Lip Balms, described as colourful, tactile and nourishing and designed for a daily organic moisture top-up.
The balms are available in four flavours – cooling Peppermint, floral Rose Geranium, zesty Lemon or warming Juniper Berry – and are made with ethically-sourced organic and natural ingredients.
Each Lip Balm blends several oils and waxes, carefully chosen to soothe, soften, nourish and provide a glossy finish. Two plant-based waxes, carnauba and jojoba, form the basis of each lip balm to seal in moisture, while cocoa butter, safflower oil and castor oil provide soothing, emollient and nourishing properties.
Soil Association-certified organic, the handmade balms are packaged in aluminium tins and recycled Kraft paperboard surrounds. All the packaging is completely recyclable and plastic-free.
Commenting on the new products, brand founder Fiona McBryde says: “Organic Lip Balms were a natural progression after the soaps, as I had been making lip balm recipes for some time for my family. Like the soaps they are affordable, one-off purchases but also make lovely gifts, particularly paired with our soaps in matching fragrances. I wanted our Lip Balms to be environmentally-friendly and suitable for vegans, so we spent some time sourcing organic natural ingredients, getting the formulas right and creating fully recyclable, recycled packaging.”
Soap Folk Organic Lip Balms are palm oil-, additive- and sulphate-free and are suitable for vegans.
