Following the launch of its skincare line in 2020, Q+A has branched out into bodycare with an eight-strong collection designed to be both effective and affordable, with nothing costing over £10.
The cruelty-free, vegan-friendly Q+A range has been dermatologically tested for sensitive skin and contains 97% natural ingredients, including home-grown extracts from Q+A’s Norwich-based lab. The initial products, which come in 100% recyclable packaging, include:
Salicylic Acid Body Wash – a hydrating and soothing gel-based body wash which delivers clear, calm and happy skin, buffing away pore-clogging impurities and encouraging cell turnover with salicylic acid, aloe vera, green tea extract, willow bark extract and plant-based surfactants for stressed, oily and delicate skin.
AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub – a vanilla and coconut-scented scrub with notes of papaya and macadamia to help even out skin tone and remove patchy fake tan with lactic acid to nourish, glycolic acid to stimulate collagen production and upcycled corn, which is a natural, sustainable and biodegradable exfoliant that buffs away dead and flaky skin and preserves the skin barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid Post-Shower Moisturiser – with an uplifting aroma of sweet honeysuckle, juicy apples and avocado, this moisturizer is loaded with hyaluronic acid to keep skin plump and hydrated, deeply nourishing hazelnut and avocado oils as well as skin-softening prebiotics to firm, hydrate, soothe and soften without leaving greasy or sticky residue. Apply to wet skin when pores are open, rub in, then pat dry.
Ceramide Body Lotion – with sweet almond, pineapple ceramides, squalene, pistachio, upcycled grapeseed oil from the wine industry and a unique barrier protecting sugar complex, this gel-cream absorbs quickly, leaving skin silky to the touch while soothing and protecting the delicate skin barrier and providing deep moisturization.
The collection is completed with Hyaluronic Acid Body Wash, Vitamin A.C.E. Cleansing Shower Oil, Salicylic Acid Smoothing Lotion and Vitamin C Body Cream.
Commenting on the launch, Q+A founder, Freddy Furber says: “It’s taken us two years to develop the bodycare range. I wanted to create premium and exceptionally high natural formulations at an accessible price that are ingredient focused with easy to understand and educational packaging. After lots of research it became clear to me that many of us made bodycare an afterthought and often neglected everything below the neck. Skin is skin. Just like our face routine, we still need to wash, exfoliate, nourish and support our bodies. With body care set to boom over the next year, I think people will start to become more aware of treating their body with the same level of care as their face.”
