Living Nature, New Zealand’s first certified natural manuka honey skincare brand, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Living Nature has harnessed the nourishing, hydrating, healing and protective properties of active manuka honey, together with other New Zealand botanicals, to create safe, effective certified natural skincare solutions.

Founded in 1987 by Suzanne Hall, the brand was inspired by Maori knowledge of the healing properties of native plants, and she initially created products in her kitchen to help ease her own skin conditions. Driven by the improvement in her own skin and a desire to produce a natural remedial range that everyone could benefit from, Living Nature was born.

Today, Living Nature has an international presence in over 14 countries. It still manufactures its own BDIH-certified products, as well as a mineral cosmetics line.

The first product produced by Hall was Manuka Honey Gel, and 30 years on, this remains the brand’s best-seller in the UK.
