Natural wellbeing and beauty brand Kypwell has unveiled its innovative new eco-friendly, sustainable and biodegradable product packaging.

The packaging, which Kypwell believes is the first of its kind in the market, is made from 100% recycled cork (compressed leftovers from cork production), glass, wood and sugarcane.

The Cypriot brand says the packaging, which uses using a cork surround encasing the product bottle, forms part of the brand’s social mission to educate customers how to upcycle and use refills.

As well as all the packaging being recyclable, the cork casing can be reused as a container for growing microgreens or can be returned to the company for a discount against a future purchase.

Kypwell has also cut down on the use of paper by replacing instruction leaflets with QR codes for additional information while, and for its labels the brand uses recycled paper produced from 100% recycled fibre.

“We  practically spent a year trying to find best possible solution for our vegan clean beauty skincare range,” says brand co-founder Inna Orlova. “I am very proud that we have finally launched our new innovative and eco-friendly package.”
