New British brand Intuitive Apothecary has launched into the natural beauty sector with a collection made using minimal, skin-nourishing, organic ingredients suitable for sensitive skin.
The offer includes Organic Body Polish available in Tea Tree + Lavender and Orange + Peppermint which soothes and softens with a nourishing blend of mango butter and organic cane sugar along with essential oils to impart an invigorating aroma.
Organic Body Oil blends three lightweight and fast-absorbing plant oils which work together to nourish and transform dry skin: softening jojoba; healing grapeseed; and moisturizing fractionated coconut oil. The oils come in Tea Tree + Lavender, Orange + Peppermint and May Chang + Lavender.
Intuitive Apothecary’s Organic Facial Oil is a lightweight, organic facial oil which harnesses the power of nutrient-dense jojoba oil, vitamin E, tea tree and lavender to soften, hydrate and restore skin.
And for healthy locks, the Organic Coconut Intensive Hair Treatment is formulated to penetrate the hair shaft, provide nutrients from root to tip, and bring dry, brittle hair back to life.
Explaining how Intuitive Apothecary was born, brand founder and wellness author Kelsey Layne-Black (pictured) says: “At a very young age I fell in love with the magic of using natural skincare, when my mother bought me a cream to treat my sensitive eczema skin. Over the years I began to experiment with an array of natural products, looking to find something that was not only safe for my sensitive skin but would also keep my dry skin at bay. My exploration eventually led me to discover the powers of humble standalone plant oils, such as skin-balancing jojoba and healing grapeseed. Tackling a different concern with each formulation, I decided to use minimal ingredients with one powerful plant oil at the forefront and infuse it with beautifully uplifting and healing essential oils.”
The vegan-friendly and cruelty-free solutions are freshly made in the brand’s York studio.
