Green People has relaunched its sun care range with a new easy-wear formula in plant-derived sugar cane packaging for summer 2019.

The range comprises: Scent Free Facial Sun Cream SPF 30; Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF 30; Edelweiss Sun Lotion SPF 15 with Natural Tan Accelerator (Vegan Society approved); Organic Children Sun Lotion SPF 30 (Scent Free); and a Holiday Sun Starter Pack.

Already one of only a few sun lotions that are reef-safe and non-toxic to marine life, the newly reformulated soft-touch lotions absorb easily into the skin, without feeling greasy.

The range contains a synergistic blend of antioxidant-rich plants designed to support the skin’s natural immune system, counteract free-radical damage and protect skin cells. Formulated with over 84% certified organic ingredients, the lotions feature soothing aloe vera, to leave skin feeling hydrated.

The new sun care offer is packaged in renewable sugar cane packaging, a carbon-neutral raw material that removes 3kgs of CO2 from the air for every 1kg produced. These full-size sun lotions are the first to feature the new packaging, and Green People says it is committed to switching all packaging to recycled or renewably sourced materials by 2022.

A 30p donation from every Green People SPF30 Scent Free Sun Lotion and Organic Children SPF30 Sun Lotion sold is donated directly to The Marine Conservation Society.
