Faith in Nature has landed a signing with vegan football club, Forest Green Rovers which will see the natural beauty brand selling a Rovers-inspired line of products.
The new Faith in Nature range, which includes a body wash and hand wash, will be used in all bathrooms at FGR’s stadium, The New Law.
The products convey the natural scent of freshly cut grass, and contain Epsom salts to aid recovery, as well as extracts of grass taken from the club’s pitch.
Bestowed the title of the world’s greenest football club by FIFA and the only 100% vegan club, Forest Green Rovers play on an organic, vegan pitch, fertilized with Scottish seaweed and mowed by a solar powered robot lawnmower.
“We are proud to be supporting Forest Green Rovers Football Club,” explains Joy Parkinson, CEO of Faith in Nature. “No football team in the world is doing more for sustainability and environmental awareness than Forest Green Rovers. We’ve been baking those values into our business for 45 years now and are so pleased to be doing our bit to spread the green word in the sporting world. We wish Forest Green Rovers a fantastic upcoming season and will be supporting them every step of the way, in their endeavours both on and off the pitch.”
Dale Vince, FGR chairman, adds: “We’re known for doing things differently at FGR and it’s great that Faith in Nature has entered into the spirit. This new partnership is unique – we’ve got great products to use in our stadium bathrooms, bringing freshly cut grass from the FGR pitch to a handwash and bodywash.”
The Forest Green Rovers New Lawn & Epsom Salts Body Wash and Hand Wash will be available online and in a number of health shops local to the team’s ground as soon as the season kicks off.
