The winners of the 2018 Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards have been announced, with British brands among the top winners.
Neal’s Yard Remedies, Little Aurelia, Neom Organics, BetterYou, Tisserand, Green People, Villiers London, Harry & Rose, SKN-RG and newcomer CWTCH Born Organic all received accolades, while International brands including Weleda (Switzerland) Carelia Petits (Spain), Skin Juice, Vatea ‘Our Small World’ and Love-ins (Australia), O.Moi Copenhagen and Irish eco-luxe spa brand Voya also made the grade.
Notable winners included: Bee Inspired’s Beeswax Wraps which took Best Eco Product; Voya scooped Best New Mum-to-be Bran; Neal’s Yard Remedies took home Best Eco-Friendly Brand UK, with Best Eco-Friendly Brand International won by Weleda; Best Baby Brand UK was awarded to Little Aurelia by Aurelia Probiotic Skincare; and Best New Launches 2018 were awarded to Harry & Rose Baby Nappy Spray, NYR Organic Baby Powder and Kokoso Baby Happy Scalp Cream.
Judges included green beauty writer and zero waste advocate Ana Green (Ana Goes Green); Liz McCarthy, founder of natural beauty and baby retail site A Beautiful World; and yoga, health and beauty writer Amber Macintosh (Dandelion Wellbeing).
