The team behind Natural & Organic Products Europe (NPE) has announced a new virtual initiative, Natural Products Meets, which launches on 19 February.

The objective of the new venture is to deliver a series of regular 30-minute talks with leading figures from the natural and organic products sector. Streamed live on Zoom on a monthly basis, Natural Products Meets will host a range of well-known industry figures to hear how they have adapted to trading during the ongoing pandemic and to discuss the challenges and opportunities of Brexit.

Each informal chat will be free to viewers and will be rounded off with a Q&A session during which the audience can put questions to the interviewee.

The series of exclusive interviews, to be conducted by Carol Dunning, event director of NPE, will kick off at 10.30am on Friday 19 February with Cheryl Thallon, founder and managing director of ethical supplements brand Viridian Nutrition, who has over 30 years’ experience in the health food industry.

Speaking ahead of the inaugural session, Dunning told NPN she was ‘delighted to kick off the series of Natural Products Meets with Cheryl Thallon’, commenting on her ‘years of knowledge and experience’ and calling her ‘one of the most respected industry leaders’.

“I couldn’t think of a better person to start this series, to bring the industry together at this time, to share the effect the pandemic and Brexit is having on her business and how she is responding to the challenges and opportunities,” says Dunning.
