Nootropic supplements brand Motion Nutrition has been acquired by Wiltshire-based supplement and nutraceuticals manufacturer Metabolics Ltd, which also owns natural protein brand Nutristrength.

MotionThe companies already have a link, as Metabolics acts as a manufacturing partner for well-known boutique brands in the industry, including Motion Nutrition.

Commenting on the move, Metabolics director Adam Hutchin (above, right) says: “Having had a long standing relationship with, and manufacturing for, Motion since early 2021, when the opportunity came up to acquire Motion, I jumped at the chance. I’d always admired Motion as I thought they were making great products and had built a really cool brand around that. To now be a custodian for the brand is a real privilege.

Adds Motion Nutrition CEO Joe Welstead (above, left): “I’m delighted that the excellent team at Metabolics led by Adam, will carry the mission forward with the market-leading quality that we and our customers have come to expect from Motion. While I *unplug* from myposition of CEO, I look forward to taking on a smaller role as brand advisor to Motion Nutrition.

Founded in 2016, the brand’s range includes night-time nootropic Unplug: Ease Your Mind to relieve stress, aid restful sleep and support brain longevity; and Power Up: Ultimate Brain Fuel – a daytime nootropic to increase mental energy, memory, mood and brain health

The companies assure that Motion Nutrition’s operations will carry on as normal while the brand joins Metabolics.
