New Zealand health and beauty brand Manuka Doctor has unveiled Manuka Plus, what it says is the first vitamin supplement range to contain high strength MGO300 manuka honey.
In addition to the manuka honey, which has been tested to meet the Ministry of Primary Industries standard, the new Manuka Plus line also incorporates other ingredients from the bee hive, such as propolis, pollen and royal jelly extract.
The eight-strong range includes products for daily health, targeted formulas for specific conditions, as well as skincare and beauty solutions.
Products include: The Bee’s Sneeze with vitamin C, selenium, bee propolis, ginger root and zinc to help maintain normal function of the immune system; Heart of the Hive combining vitamin B1 with plant sterols, bee propolis, Co-Q10, niacin and resveratrol to support heart health; and the Collagen Queen anti-ageing skincare solution with responsibly sourced marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, royal jelly extract, vitamin c and selenium.
Completing the Manuka Plus offer are: Honey Relax; Tummy Bee Calm; Bee Flex (for joint care); Bees for your Bonnet (hair, skin and nails); and Blemish Bee Free (problem skin).
The Manuka Plus vitamins have no added flavourings or colourings, and are gluten-, nut-, GMO-, yeast- and dairy-free, and are packaged in recycled cardboard tubes.
