The King’s Award for Enterprise has been presented to Viridian Nutrition.

Previously known as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the prestigious programme – now in its 57th year – recognizes outstanding achievement by a UK business with regards innovation, international trade, sustainable development and ‘promoting opportunity through social mobility’.

The Daventry-based, family-run ethical supplements brand has been given the Royal seal of approval for excellence in business in International Trade for Outstanding Continuous Growth, based on activity over the past six years in markets including Continental Europe, Iceland and South Africa.

King Charles has long championed organics and complementary medicine and we applaud his continued work

Between 2015-2021 the company’s overseas sales grew by 390%, with the percentage of goods exported rising to over 30%.

The win allows Viridian to display the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem across its communications over the next five years.

Cheryl Thallon, founder and MD of Viridian, comments on the accolade: “It’s a great honour to accept this regal award acknowledging not only the success of our team and customers, but also our ethical commitment to spreading health and happiness across the globe. King Charles has long championed organics and complementary medicine and we applaud his continued work in these and other fields.”
