Milk rounds are back, but this time it’s a fleet of E-bikes. Modern Milkman, the 21st century milk round, is launching a fleet of E-bikes bringing British produce to doorsteps across Southwest London this April.

The E-Bikes deliver quietly throughout the night, using 95% less CO2 than a petrol car. And with predictable delivery schedules, they can drop produce by 7.30 am, up to three times weekly. The added platform capabilities to adjust or pause orders, are designed to seamlessly slot into busy daily life.

Offerings include breakfast essentials such as sourdough bread, rich yolk eggs, fresh juices and farm-fresh milk in reusable glass bottles as well as premium cupboard additions like smoked chorizo jam and pistachio cream spread. With sustainability built into the model, Modern Milkman delivers breakfast and more alongside a mission to help the planet.

Lucy Mooney, People and Brand director at Modern Milkman says:  “We’ve seen a gap in the market for fresh, high-quality produce, provided by British suppliers, to sort London’s essentials. Delivered overnight to doorsteps by our E-bikes, for a lesser impact on the environment, the size and agility of our fleet allows us to expand into the Southwest of London. We are excited to launch this and to get even more Londoners taking tasty, small steps to support British businesses as well as the planet.”

This marks the start of the B- Corp certified platform’s aims to scale up around London and then expand to other UK cities in 2026.
