Clearspring has extended its organic Japanese matcha collection with four fresh blends: Matcha Ginger, Matcha Three Mint, Matcha Genmaicha and Matcha Turmeric.
The brand says the new flavour combinations have been carefully curated to work with the subtle notes of matcha to enhance consumers’ authentic Japanese tea experience and are suitable for any time of the day.
“The demand for matcha has grown immensely over the past few years,” comments Clearspring director Maria Dawson. “Our matcha blends have been launched to meet this demand, whilst adding something exciting with new flavour combinations. Fans of matcha can now start their day with a refreshing and uplifting Organic Matcha Three Mint, have a warming Matcha Ginger or Matcha Turmeric midday tea and finish the day with a more soothing Matcha Genmaicha.”
The tea bag range is also getting a packaging refresh with a bright new design. The packaging is entirely sustainable and the tea bags are compostable with string made from organic cotton. The outer carton is made from recyclable FSC-certified paperboard and printed using vegetable-based ink.
“This launch is another big milestone for Clearspring in our mission towards sustainable packaging,” adds Dawson. “Sustainability is an increasingly important factor for shoppers, and we want to do everything we can to meet this challenge, whilst continuing to innovate and deliver great tasting products.”
Clearspring’s entire tea range is organic, non-GM, free from added sugar, artificial ingredients and preservatives.
