The 31st edition of Great Taste will open for General Entry at midday on Monday 22nd January 2024. (Entry is currently open for Guild members from 8th to 22nd January).
Established in 1994, Great Taste is organised by the Guild of Fine Food and is the world’s largest, longest standing and most respected food and drink accreditation scheme, recognised by consumers and retailers alike.
Each year, over 14,000 entries are received from more than 100 countries to be blind tasted by the expert Great Taste judging panel. Every product is assessed purely on taste, and regardless of whether a product wins a coveted 1-, 2- or 3-star award, producers receive written feedback from the judges.
Winning a Great Taste award encourages confidence and commercial success for small businesses, generating greater awareness for products locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Accreditation means food and drinks products will stand out on overcrowded retail shelves with 55% of UK adults saying they are familiar with Great Taste logos on packaging.
Entry will open from Monday 22 January and will close on Tuesday 6 February (or before if the entry capacity is reached.)
