Union Hand-Roasted Coffee has created Union Brew Lab Cold Brew Coffee produced using single-origin coffee from Guatemala, ethically sourced through Union Direct Trade.

Designed to be the ‘ultimate summer serve’, the new brew is perfect for keeping commuters cool, as a pre- or post-workout refreshment or simply served over ice for an invigorating kick.

Sourced directly from smallholder farmers of the Esquipulas co-operative in the Northern Highlands of Guatemala, Union Cold Brew is slowly steeped in small batches for 24 hours to maximize flavour and enhance the rich notes of dark chocolate. Leaving a naturally sweet and refreshing coffee, with no sugar or additives.

The Cold Brew Coffee can be enjoyed neat, with a splash of milk, split with tonic or ginger ale, or mixed up in a coffee cocktail.

“There’s nothing quite like a cold coffee on a hot summer’s day, and our new Cold Brew offers a refreshing caffeine kick in a convenient and easy grab on-the-go bottle,” says Dave Law, creator of Union Brew Lab Cold Brew. “As with all our coffee, the beans we use for our Cold Brew are completely traceable from seed to cup.”

Union sources its coffee via Union Direct Trade, which sees the company build long-term relationships with farmers in coffee growing communities, while paying at least 25% above the Fairtrade minimum price.
