Roca Defisan will participate once again in the largest professional event for organic products in Spain and Portugal, which will be held in Madrid on June 4 and 5.
It is the third year that ROCA makes a determined commitment to be present at Organic Food Iberia with the clear objective of bringing nuts, cereals and legumes operators closer to ecological solutions (without toxic gases) of curative treatments and bio-conservation in the storage of post-harvest products.
This time, not only will it participate as an exhibitor, but it will also be the official sponsor of the new Bio Tech Iberia area. On the other hand, they will hold a talk in the Eco Talks space, where they can share with key actors in the sector the problem of pests in their products and how to tackle it. In the words of ROCA’s commercial director, Juan Mérida, “ For us it is essential that the sector knows and is aware that it already has all the post-harvest solutions to keep its merchandise and products insect-free in an ecological way. “There are many years of effort for Spain and Portugal to lead treatments free of toxic gases, thus maintaining organic traceability.” Research, implementation and coordination with regulatory entities have been the framework of action and work of ROCA with its more than 44 years of post-harvest treatments the main axes that have allowed Spain and Portugal to now have these alternatives.
In this way, ROCA will show these techniques and technologies at its own stand so that farmers, warehousemen, operators, distributors, importers and exporters and, in general, the entire Bio sector can learn first-hand how to keep their goods free of infestation.
For more than a decade, ROCA has been incorporating all the existing techniques in the pest control and environmental health sector to provide the best solutions in the bio-conservation and elimination of insects in post-harvest products. High temperatures, increasingly colder winters and the need to extend the useful life of products mean that operators increasingly need new techniques and solutions in accordance with these new realities.
