Organic and fair trade brand Dr. Bronner’s has announced its support of City to Sea, an environmental organization which campaigns to stop plastic pollution at source.
City to Sea’s programmes include the Refill campaign and app which shows users where they can find free drinking water and places to eat, drink and shop with less waste. It is also behind the #SwitchtheStick campaign, fighting the war against plastic cotton bud sticks, Plastic Free Periods and Rethink Periods, an education programme designed to challenge conventional period education and empower women, as well as World Refill Day and several public awareness and political advocacy campaigns.
We’re delighted to have the support of Dr. Bronner’s, ensuring we can reach more people than ever before
“At City to Sea, we’re on mission to stop plastic pollution at source and make it easier for everyone to live with less waste,” explains head of campaigns, Jo Morley. “Our award-winning campaigns tackle the most polluting single-use plastic items, focusing on upstream solutions, so our oceans and beaches won’t need to be cleaned in the future. We’re delighted to have the support of Dr. Bronner’s, ensuring we can reach more people than ever before and make living with less plastic more affordable and accessible for all.”
Cliff Moss, MD of Dr. Bronner’s UK and its UK distribution partner, Healthy Sales, adds: “City to Sea is making remarkable strides in combating plastic pollution through its proactive strategies. Given the rapid pace at which plastic pollution is spreading, their approach is essential. We are excited to support City to Sea’s endeavours and contribute to their upcoming campaigns.”
City to Sea joins Dr. Bronner’s other All-One UK partners, including Surge, Emmaus, and Ecohustler.
