Belazu

London-based B Corp Belazu has kicked off a new media campaign which showcases its new branding and includes an eight-month partnership with The Guardian, featuring a chef-led recipe series including Tom Straker, Josh Katz, and Helen Graham, allowing consumers to shop directly with retailers via a QR code. The campaign also ties in a 30-second TV ad on All4 throughout June and a 12-month partnership with top UK chef Angela Hartnett of Michelin-starred Murano. David Balmer, Belazu MD, says: “We’re keen to show consumers they can make chef-grade dishes in their own home using Belazu ingredients … Consumers can buy exactly the same ingredients as chefs, be it oils, vinegars, pastes, pestos, nuts, condiments, antipasti or tahini. It’s a simple message, ‘if it’s good enough for chefs, it’s good enough for you’, and we’re confident the new campaign will boost brand awareness and drive sales via retailers.”

Hunter & Gather’s new Avocado Oil White Truffle Mayonnaise is made in the UK from avocado oil, delicate white truffle oil, pasteurized British free-range egg yolk, apple cider vinegar, pink Himalayan salt, garlic powder and black pepper, with no seed or sunflower oils, sugar, grains or ‘added nasties’. “We searched high and low to find a high-quality, natural, white truffle oil for our mayonnaise, which is rarer than black truffle, with a more subtle, garlicky flavour,” says Amy Moring, co-founder of Hunter & Gather. “The result is a delicate truffle oil mayonnaise that is not only bursting with flavour, but is also packed with healthful, real food ingredients … As a brand, we believe a healthier lifestyle starts with simple healthy swaps, which is why our mayonnaise range is perfect for everyone, from foodies and families looking to make healthier choices, through to those following keto or paleo lifestyles.

With help from Northumbria’s Student and Graduate Enterprise team and taking inspiration from her seaside hometown Whitely Bay, Northumbria University graduate Annabelle Hill has launched a range of skincare products, Sea The Love, which utilize sea extracts to improve the skin and boost self-confidence. The natural, vegan and cruelty-free range is based on marine-based ingredients such as micro algae, winged kelp and red seaweeds, and the initial collection includes a serum, cleanser and night cream. “It’s hard to ignore the influence social media has on self-image. It was important to me that this was at the forefront of my brand, as improving your skin is only half of the solution,” explains Hill. “You have to love your natural self and be comfortable with your own reflection. Hence, Sea The Love.” The company has committed to making a charitable donation to The Marine Conservation Society with every purchase. The products are presented in recyclable glass jars.

Independent UK honey brand BeeHype has introduced two new bee-based health products. New Ginger Boost combines raw honey, ginger and turmeric to make it easy for consumers to take in essential vitamins and boost their immune system. “Ginger shots have gained extreme popularity in recent years – and for a good reason,” says co-founder Stela Aleksieva. “Ginger is widely accepted as a natural antibiotic and anti-inflammatory agent by the scientific community. That’s what inspired us to create Ginger Boost and help consumers increase their immunity in a natural way.” Happy Bee Pollen is described as a natural multivitamin from the hive with minerals and antioxidants. Providing a natural energy and mood boost bee pollen can also help relieve allergy symptoms by increasing the production of histamine and is deal for those looking for a way to build up their body’s natural defences.
