Weleda’s Calendula Nappy Change Cream is celebrating 30 years on the market this summer.
Starring in Weleda’s Top ten best seller list since 2000, and holding the No 1 or No 2 spot from 2007 onwards, the mums’ and midwives’ favourite includes extracts of organic golden calendula grown in Weleda’s biodynamic herb gardens, together with soothing chamomile, sweet almond and organic sesame, plus protective beeswax.
Weleda, which has been making baby skincare products since 1959, has announced some interesting stats to celebrate the landmark anniversary: Weleda Calendula Nappy Change Cream has won 28 awards in the UK alone in the last ten years; a tube of Calendula Nappy Change Cream sells every ten seconds; and 243 tonnes of the nappy cream are made each year.
