MOMA Foods has unveiled new branding for its ambient oat-based drinks, along with a new name: Breakfast Smoothie.
Breakfast Smoothies are the latest iteration of Moma’s first product Oatie Shake – which later became Yog-Oat Smoothie – and come in Strawberry & Banana and Mango & Peach varieties. The smoothies are made with yoghurt, oats and fruit, have no added sugar and are high in protein.
“At MOMA we’ve always been committed to innovation and evolution in-line with consumer trends,” says Tom Mercer, founder of MOMA Foods. “With an ever-increasing market for out-of-home breakfasting, consumer demand for quality breakfast drinks is on the rise. We felt the time was right to rebrand our Breakfast Smoothies.
“The latest iteration of the very first MOMA product, these drinks are important to the brand and to me personally, so we wanted to ensure that we continue to evolve the product to match consumer needs. The rebrand of our Breakfast Smoothies will help to keep us front-of-mind for a high quality and convenient drink that gives you all the goodness of oats on-the-go.”
The redesign aims to create high consumer appeal and convey the natural ingredients contained in the smoothies.
Daniela Nunzi-Mihranian, executive creative director at Studio Minerva, who carried out the redesign, comments: “Although the previous design had great shelf standout we wanted to better help consumers understand the product and usage occasion at shelf. We renamed it the Breakfast Smoothie and added clear ingredients illustrations to overtly reassure of the natural goodness and dial up taste cues in an instant.”
