The Health Food Manufacturers’ Association (HFMA) has launched CLEAR CHECK, which supersedes its Labelling, Advertising and Promotions Advice Division (LAPAD) service.
As well as continuing to provide advice and counsel to member and non-member companies looking to market specialist health products, CLEAR CHECK will now offer a number of new services. These include a procedure for reporting non-compliant non-member companies to enforcement authorities, EU market-specific advice and tailored training that can be taken in-house.
The service will also administer the HFMA’s Code of Advertising Practice (HFMA CAP), which will help companies present, their products to their maximum advantage within the law.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of our new CLEAR CHECK service,” commented Graham Keen, executive director of the HFMA “LAPAD has always been one of our most popular services with both HFMA members and non-members alike so we wanted to invest further in this service to provide the best possible advice in an increasingly challenging legislative environment. Our CLEAR CHECKTM administrators have almost 50 years of combined expertise and experience, and they offer a vital service for companies seeking help and advice in this area.”
